Folk Tales. This is the illustrated junior library version, which includes illustrations and a lackluster (probably abridged) retelling of the 1001 nights stories. It was ok.

Another book that enthralled me as a child, both the classic stories and the illustrations (black and white line art plus color plates!). From the little girl handwriting inside the cover, this was my mom's "once upon a time."
