Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I was reading this book right next to my husband (who was watching tv) and I was so engrossed in it that he left the room and I didn't know until I was done with the book. LOL!!! This book grabbed me from page one and never let go. I was guessing who the murderer was all the way up to the end and I was still wrong. This book was so good I might read it again sometime. If you like a good mystery or thriller, then this is the book for you.

A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Blood and Ash Book 2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I'm going to read the next book and I don't even know why because if I have to read that something is "indecent" or "inappropriate" for another 400 pages, I may never pick up another book in my life.

Is the author going to threesome-bait the whole series or what

From Blood and Ash (Blood And Ash Series Book 1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I think this may be closer to a 3.5 for me, but I have to sit on it a while before I completely decide.

I have some of my normal female protagonists in fantasy gripes, so I won't even get into those with nothing new and interesting to say.

What I REALLY loved about this book and was so compelling to me was the narrative on religion and the turmoil and struggle with feeling disillusioned by what you've known your whole life. I'm excited to read the next books because this can be further fascinating when her brother comes into play and how that is dealt with.… (more)
