Predictably, this title uses the usual Time-Life format of a basic overview of the topic which in this case is the development of the airline industry plus the special pages that highlight the important individuals and special airplanes. Another wonderful part of this book are the many photographs of airplanes and people. As well, there are maps and charts. Nicely-illustrated mid-80's introduction, now very out of date but with some good historical sketches of the development of atmospheric science.
