S.E. Martens is a Canadian indie author. They grew up in Northern Ontario, with the moose, bears and serious amounts of snow. A library and information technician by training, they have enjoyed more than a decade working in the world of public libraries.

They are drawn to all things weird and spooky, but also superheroes, science fiction and fantasy. Their work blends genre with surreal, dreamlike imagery.

Their poetry has appeared in Strange Horizons, The Literary Hatchet, Star*Line, and more.
