A big improvement from Twisted Love. This one didn’t have me tucking my feminism under the bed in shame, for starters. I liked how everything worked out here. There was a “twist” I kept expecting to drop from minute one, but I was pleasantly surprised that when it did, it wasn’t quite in the form I expected, and didn’t prove to be as much of a deus ex machina as I assumed either. I’m looking forward to book 3 even more now after how much I liked this one.
