One of the sub-genres I hate is Romantic Fantasy! When my Bingo pushed me towards reading one I dreaded it.

It took me roughly 10 books to find one I can finish but not compute so well since I don't know what the heck is (Knoting) or (mates in the form of wolves running together in full moon) or (witches only getting pregnant with daughters)

However this book tried to be simple and pretty much easy and I could grasp most of the fantasy elements. Also the banter between MCs and the plot were enjoyable.

Not saying, that I like reading "western fantasy romance" now. But I hate it less.

Yesmina Reads Romance Oh yeah, It wan be used for a holiday romance (Halloween)
For forced marriage (hex) But we don't have that, we only had fake marriage
And enemies to lovers (in truth it's friends to enemies to lovers).
