I started it, got like 50 pages in and stopped because I wasn’t feeling it…seeing these comments I don’t feel so bad.
i love your videos and literally same babe. this book was so overhyped…slow…boring….uneventful….and disappointing. i should’ve known a decent sequel is a rare find. ⭐️⭐️/5 two stars.
ngl I literally cried through the whole thing and loved most of it but the book almost feels incomplete. like I didn’t realize the end was the end until I saw the acknowledgments page
same - i feel like there wasn’t enough emotion in both books to rlly connect me to the characters !!
I thought it was fine. The “Jack” chapters were definitely the best as we really didn’t get to know him in the first book. I wanted more though.
I’m disappointed with the book as a whole. I wanted more from Finny, I didn’t really care for Jack’s point of view as much. The ending is what really did it for me. I wanted to love it and the first couple chapters I did but it fell flat and got so boring for me.
Pffft— I was wondering if I should read this book. But now, seeing all these comments, I don’t want to waste my money 😭. I’m sure the authors writing is good! But it just doesn’t sound like I would enjoy it 😭🫶🏻
This reminds me of It Stars With Us basically a book I didn't need it and felt annoyed that I wasted my time with it
i was kinda disappointed too this book i feel like dragged on to long and finnys pov wasn’t as heat felt as i had hoped
No it’s from after what happened in the first book but finny’s point of view begins near the end of the first book
Anyone else think that jack was gonna end up with autumn and then the end just casually ends up with Sylvie smh I was disappointed.
I see how it might be disappointing for people.. but honestly I loved getting a second book and hearing from Finn’s pov. I became very attached to the first book and their story so maybe that is why I loved this one as well.
I recommend going in with the expectations of just enjoying hearing more from the characters and being back in their world!

agreed. this book only made me hate autumn but ihhbwm used to be one of my favorite books so this is saying ALOT
I agree. I was disappointed as well. The first one literally broke my heart and I couldn’t pick up another book for days. My heart still hurts when I look at the cover. This one was ok but did not evoke the same feelings.
