This story was utterly delightful and just what I needed at this particular moment in time. It was a typical rom-com in that it was full of misunderstandings and pining and quirky characters. But it was also a lovely, cathartic read for me since it deals with the grief of losing a parent and having things left unsaid and just how hard the holidays can be with all of that looming over your head and your heart.

I've loved every one of Adriana Mather's novels I've read, but this is my new favorite. I'm so excited for her foray into adult novels -- and a romantic comedy at that -- and I can't wait to see what she writes next!
