Yahaira The only story I was interested in was the middle one and that was still only three stars. All the other stories just came and went.

Lark Benobi I'm deeply missing the amazement I felt while reading Fever Dream. There were flashes of it in Little Eyes and Mouthful of Birds. It's not necessary for her stories to be surreal. I just want them to surprise me a little more than these did.

Richard Derus ...and not even that Happened. It sort of juddered to its angle of repose about 35,000 words after I returned it to the library.
