I Am Number Four.

Tobías is a young boy ready in age to start his faction training; born and raised Abnegation, by an abusive father, and an absent mother. After taking his Aptitude Test, he’s expected to pick a faction in the upcoming Choosing Day Ceremony; a definitive Faction, in which he will have to live in, for the rest of his life.

Meh, this was ok I guess. Even though I loved Divergent (one of my favorites series of all time), can’t say I loved this one. Maybe it was too short, maybe it just doesn’t measure up to the full novels, or maybe this little chapter shouldn’t be considered as a unit but as a whole with the rest, to judge it fairly.

Regardless, it was very interesting knowing the beginnings of Four, and why he chose his Faction, and his tattoo. It was great getting to know Amar, his friend and instructor, and seeing Eric too I guess, the bastard. Not to mention learning in full detail the when, how and why he got his name, Four.

Soy El Número Cuatro.

Tobías es un joven listo en edad para iniciar su entrenamiento de facción; nacido y criado en Abnegación, por un padre abusivo, y una madre ausente. Después de realizar su Prueba de Aptitud, se espera que elija una facción en la próxima Ceremonia del Día de la Elección; una Facción definitiva, en la cual tendrá que vivir, por el resto de su vida.

Meh, esto estuvo bien, supongo. Aunque amé Divergente (una de mis series favoritas de todos los tiempos), no puedo decir que me amé esto. Tal vez fue demasiado corto, tal vez simplemente no está a la altura de las novelas enteras, o tal vez este pequeño capítulo no debería considerarse como una unidad sino como un todo con el resto, para juzgarlo con justicia.

De todos modos, fue muy interesante conocer los inicios de Cuatro, y por qué eligió su Facción, y su tatuaje. Fue genial conocer a Amar, su instructor y amigo, y ver también a Eric supongo, el muy bastardo. Y ni hablar de conocer con total detalle el cuándo, cómo y por qué obtuvo su nombre, Cuatro.
