Starts off a little slow but the further into the book it gets more detailed more, feeling, more interesting. The book revolves around main character Merry and she's telling her story to a journalist, the story is about a major event in her family's past and how and what the outcome came to be and the after effects of it...
But the further you go you ask yourself what is real, what is a child's imagination what is a teen elaborately put lie, when is it just priest Parents just seeing what they want to see. Eventually we see a tragic outcome and are forced to think who did this, why did this happen, how did it get this far??? Just a very thought provoking, fast paced, mind blowing read!
Was very happy with the book. I wanted to pick up some other books from this author but...(*money stuff lol) so next time, I got a lot of great looking books on my Want To Read list.

Love this book! I want to SEE it as a MOVIE. (I hardly ever say that about any book.)
