December 14, 2019: this comic still owns my entire heart, and getting to read it in print form is honestly amazing
I've been following heartstopper on tumblr since before it was ever in print, and I just! it makes me so incredibly happy to see how far this comic has come in so many different ways and I just! emotions! all the emotions!
the fact is this story has been with me from back when I was very first starting to question my sexuality. it's always been there, three times a month, and even if I didn't necessarily realize back then how much it means to me, it means a whole fucking lot.
it really feels like I've grown with these characters. nick and charlie have grown and changed so much since these first chapters, and I've changed so much since I first started reading about these precious characters and thesis going me so many emotions!
anyways I will shut up now bc this is just me rambling overemotionally, but like! read heartstopper y'all!...more

I was sort of dubious going into this... I've never really liked graphic novels very much, and I don't think I loved The Lunar chronicle so much, I doI was sort of dubious going into this... But the thing is, I also loved TLC so much that I couldn't NOT read this either. So I picked it up, and I am so glad I did. It was awesome!
PLOT
So the plot in this was... sort of nonexistent. I mean, there was some action, and there WAS a plot, but I think this was more about giving us more of these wonderful characters, but you know what? I love these wonderful characters, so I'm completely okay with that.
CHARCTERS
I love all these characters so much! I was SOSOSO happy to see more of them! They haven't changed a bit, and OH MY GOSH I LOVE THEM!!
My only complaint was that they didn't look a bit like I picture them. And I couldn't tell half of them apart. But mostly that they looked SO different from how I picture them... It was probably partly because it was done all in blues, and, you know, the characters aren't blue, but it was also the fact that I thought Wolf very much resembled the dude from those frozen green bean packages, and very much did NOT resemble a wolf.
OVER ALL
I really don't have a whole lot to say about this book... it was awesome, but it was so short. There's just not a whole lot of book to discuss....more
