I don't think this is one I'm ever going to be able to be reasonable about reviewing, because my love for it is so tangled up in years of nostalgia, but damn it really is just as good as I remember it too

I've been following heartstopper on tumblr since before it was ever in print, and I just! it makes me so incredibly happy to see how far this comic has come in so many different ways and I just! emotions! all the emotions!
the fact is this story has been with me from back when I was very first starting to question my sexuality. it's always been there, three times a month, and even if I didn't necessarily realize back then how much it means to me, it means a whole fucking lot.
it really feels like I've grown with these characters. nick and charlie have grown and changed so much since these first chapters, and I've changed so much since I first started reading about these precious characters and thesis going me so many emotions!

First read, July 5, 2019: What the holy hell even was this book??? It was extremely weird. In a good way. It was just so ridiculously fun and bizarre.
And also it gave us more Nico content. Just saying. (Not as much as I *wanted*, but y'all know I'm trash for Nico and even just his small appearances in this book were perfection.)...more
