After forcing my way through I can honestly say I gained nothing except the knowledge that the book did not, if fact, get any better.
Let me say this: I started a very different review in which I was taking apart all the things I hated about this book, from the utter bucketload of clichés to pretty horrible writing to a romance that made no sense with how the characters ping ponged between genuine disgust and love confessions. And then I stopped. Because this book has already stolen many hours of my life that I will never get back and I'll be damned if I'll spend another 15 minutes or so re-hashing what was already an utter waste of time.
