What I expected: a fluffy interstellar romance ft. a lonely infp heroine with anxiety/depression.
What I got: a interstellar adventure ft. a lonely infp heroine with anxiety/depression, BUT ALSO steeped in trauma, abuse, and a tinge of horror. It's the sort of book that makes you think about your family, your trauma, your relationships, your mental health, your capabilities, and your purpose.
Should Netflix make a movie out of this book? Probably.
Would I read another Lauren James book? In a heartbeat....more
