small, clumsy man, getting swept off his feet by a big possessive alpha male. This could have been a shifter book, but without the shifters. Lots of growling and MINE MINE MINE. Insta-love to the max. It was absolutely wonderful.
Lany is a 25 year old small guy who keeps getting into trouble. When he is getting beaten up in the bathroom of a bar one night, he is releaved when a big man comes to his rescue.
Lany is not used to people actually wanting him around, so he is surprised and thinks this man is crazy when his rescuer lets him know he wants to date Lany and isn’t planning on letting him go, ever.
Sal Delvecchio knows this adorable man is his as soon as he lays eyes on him. He has been waiting his entire life to find someone to hold his interest and now that he’s found him, Sal is not letting him go…
I LOVE LOVE LOVED Lany. He was one of the most adorable characters I’ve ever read about.
“How did you keep crashing your car?” “Well, it wasn’t easy, let me tell you. I tried as hard as I could, but no matter how much I concentrated, things just seem to jump out at me.” “At your car?” I nodded. “Things like?” “Garbage cans, mailboxes, buildings.” I frowned as I went down the list of things I had crashed into over the years. “There was an elephant once, but I don’t think that counts because he hit me.”
And Sal was just the perfect man (and keeper) for Lany. There were growls, there was a lot of MINE, there were hot sexy times and lots of hurt/comfort.
I absolutely loved this book. Is it cheesy? Yes, definitely. It’s Stormy Glenn, so fans of hers know what to expect (although I have to admit that this book actually has way more of a plot than her other books).
I do think that this book will be too cheesy, too OTT insta-lovey for most of my GR friends, but this hit all of my happy buttons, so I loved it anyway.
This ends in a HEA, but I do feel as if their relationship just got started, so I’m looking forward to the rest of the books about these sweet men.

It does take a bit away from the quality of the romance if there’s insta-love and then a lot of action to fill up the rest of the story, as was the case here. But other than that it was still a very sweet Stormy Glenn kind of book.
And I really did love the fact that these guys walk their cats in the park on a leash together. How adorable is that!

Absolutely adorable!
I really liked this. It was sweet and cute and just a nice read overall.
There were two scenes that kind of missed its mark for me, but luckily the rest was really good.
The supposedly funny scene in the cable car had the potential to be either really funny or comforting with Sterling freaking out like that. But the author decided to do neither. I would have Ledged totally make fun of the situation, or I would have him support Sterling and make it an emotional moment. Now it felt just awkward.
I liked the second half a lot more than the first half.

I was a bit annoyed with how gloomy the whole Arie Bellview thing felt at first. With the way he threw money at everything and how he always seemed to get his way. Even if he had to kill for it.
But then things finally started to come together and I really started liking this.
The relationship between Sedrick and Phil (hate the name btw) was very sweet even though we didn't get any steam. That didn't matter to me at all. It seemed to fit the story.

After reading some reviews saying that the French Canadian language in this was awful, I decided to try ignore those parts of the story completely. Since I’m not Canadian or French it wasn’t too difficult.
I actually ended up enjoying this more than I thought I would. The sweetness of these guys and their relationship really hooked me from the start.
Even though I can definitely see why some people might have issues with the language in this. The French seemed out of place a lot of the times when Bryce was speaking English to someone.

And stalking he did. It was the sweetest thing. ;)
Sem is big, strong, and straight. Or not so straight, because he is completely obsessed with small, tiny Magnus, who is trying to show him he can take care of himself.
The first time they had sex was kind of funny because of how it happened and I didn’t expect that it would happen like that.
But these guys kept being drawn to each other and once Magnus finally sees Sem is his dream guy, and not some other fantasy guy, things smoothed out for them.
We got some time with Sem’s crazy-ass family and we saw how Magnus fit right in.
These guys were simply adorable together. Sem was possessive and protective, and Magnus was fierce and didn’t let anyone walk over him.
I think I liked this slightly less than Whit, because this had some angst near the end that didn’t quite convince me. I don’t like angst for the sake of drama. It wasn’t necessary imo, and we never even got to know how it ended with Magnus’ brothers.
But I still really liked it, and there are so many interesting characters that I hope there will be a million books in this series. ...more

I'm going with 4 stars this time. I had a bit more trouble connecting with these boys on my second read.

This was really amazing. I had no idea what it would be about since I hadn’t read the blurb and I didn’t read any reviews. For some reason I thought this would be a dark romance, but it was anything but.
I absolutely loved Caleb and his obsession with Whit. He was so open about it too.
And the way this started with Caleb being sick and him basically claiming Whit as his cuddle-mate, I absolutely loved it.
I also loved how Caleb was never really afraid of being out, or to show anyone what Whit meant to him. He took it all in stride, even though he always thought himself straight before he met Whit.
I could even handle the little bit of angst near the end, because it didn’t feel fabricated. And neither did anything unforgivable, so they could just make up and live happily ever after.
This felt like a happy book, even though there were some things in Whit’s past (and present) that were pretty heavy. But the romance in this just shone. There was so much love and sex, let’s not forget about the sex. It’s been a very long time since I’ve read a book where I didn’t skip the sex scenes because they are so meh. Not here, here they were interesting, and hot!
Overall I really liked this and I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in this series....more

In this Alois is finally back from his mission to save Wyatt Morrick and will finally be reunited with Sebastian, his mate.
Sebastian, whose parents sold him when he was 17 and who got pregnant by one of the men who used him, since he was forced to be the Wednesday night plaything.
But now that Alois found Sebastian, he is determined to shower Sebastian and baby Nina with so much love that Sebastian won’t know what hit him.
But there is also the search for the rest of the element creatures that have taken over innocent bodies. They already defeated Water, and luckily Death is on their side (since Death took over the body of Verion Morrick, Wyatt’s father, who still loves his son very much). But now they need to find Fire, who has been bound to the evil Queen, but is basically innocent. And Air, who enjoys killing people way too much.
Together the people of Charybdis Station need to find a way to do all of this. Luckily Sebastian recently found out he is a shaman with magical powers…
There are so many characters in these books. And normally I would be put off by that, but not here. I love all of them. They got introduced in such a way that I can still keep everyone apart. And I never felt that they all blended together (as I’ve seen in other books, where everyone seems to be like the other).
I have to mention the animals in this. I absolutely LOVE pets in books, and we got some awesome ones here. I have to mention Princess Buttercup again. The dragon who can change size and can either be a small dragon who likes to sit on Leti’s shoulder, or he can be 15 feet long (yes, Princess Buttercup is a HE) and can be the most terrifying soldier of Charybdis Station who can decimate the enemy in less than a minute.
There are puppies, cats, dragons, and a large variety of other animals. Oh, and let’s not forget Mustachio, Sebastian’s bird! I loved that a bunch of them joined the fights and were pretty fierce!
Of course these books are sweeter than sweet, and if you like asshole men, do not read this series.
I’m hooked now and I’m so happy there are 3 book in this series left and 2 of the spinoff (yay, for Death and yay for Fire!!). ...more
I wasn’t as engrossed in this book as I was with the others.

Now there’s not always enough focus on the relationship in these books, and I’ve accepted that, but here I never quite felt the romance between Beck and Beol.
Sure, they were cute and sweet, but I wasn’t quite as into them as I was with the other couples.
There is a big fight scene near the end that was pretty spectacular though. I absolutely loved seeing all the different powers people have, flying bots, jumping boots, and fierce dragons (well, it was only one, but Princess Buttercup counts for 10).
I also adore Fire, and Death isn’t too bad either. Fire is absolutely adorable though. I can’t wait for his book.
And we also meet Air. I was even pleasantly surprised by him/her.
But I did feel as if this book was a bit too full. So many things happening all the time, it was a bit exhausting.
So even though I’m settling for 3 stars, I still really like the series and can’t wait to read the other books. ...more

But I actually liked the sappiness of it. Although I liked the first half more than the second half.
As a single parent myself I could really relate to Luke and his struggles with his 17 year old son. So those parts really got to me. And I absolutely loved seeing Luke and Emmet get closer.
I also really liked the romance between Luke and Landon. Yet…. I felt like things moved a bit too fast in the second half. I didn’t mind it too much, but it did make it all a little less realistic and believable....more

I really enjoyed this latest book by Carly Marie. It was sweet, it was cute, it was adorable.
I really like Carly Marie's writing style. Her books always have this nice flow. And she knows how to write emotions. I always feel so much when reading one of her books.
I do have to admit I wanted a bit more Daddy kink in this. It was hardly present at all. There was some middle/little stuff (like stuffed animals and such), but besides that it was pretty tame in the kink department.
Lots of sweetness, no angst, just lots of caring and feelings. Yes, I really liked this....more
