No, what got me to start was the fact that there was one ADORABLE grumpy and stubborn as FUCK single daddy (who is not the MMC tho *sigh* ) that does not coddle his daughter but prepares her for the worst at all times. His way of showing he cares had me in literal tears you guys I’m that senti over him ✋
anyWAY, I could not be happier that I finally read the book.
Along the way, obviously my love for the main characters grew but damn Vincent you will ALWAYS be famous ...more

I scrunched my nose up in disgust. "Because you're not Gibsie to me, Gerard." "Exactly." Shrugging, he unfolded his arms from behind his head and reached a hand out to me. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love the characters, no, I definitely cried MORE — if that’s even possible — than I did the first time I read it. I related sm to parts of the book and my heart hurt for what the characters were feeling including side characters.
I still love lunelly together and separately smsmsmsm they’re so adorable and precious ugh

I adored Clay and he actually made me laugh sometimes. He was the nice guy that had his possessive and jealousy streaks. His actions spoke louder than words and I hated that he had such a difficult past. Speaking of actions, this guy fr snook some of Giana’s books and learned what she liked and how she liked it from the spicy scenes. That’s some book boyfriend material right there kids ...more

I was completely hooked from the start. The writing was so easy to read, it was very straight forward. After reading Nocticadia, the simplicity was exactly what I needed. The story felt very mindless from the beginning to middle of the book but it really picked up after that.
This book is not perfect at all. Despite that I adore the characters and their relationships both familial and romantic.
