It’s game time friends. And since the holiday shopping frenzy is about to start I made these pretty birch gift tags and I wanted to share them with you so we can all get a head start on our holiday prep. The free printable is at the bottom of this post.

Etceteras: birch branches and boxwood
The Christmas décor is slowly coming down and getting tucked away until next year. I still want some winter décor around the house and after a season of glitter, I’m craving some natural elements.

Etceteras: birch vases and fall leaves
You can quickly add fall leaves to your mantle or table with just a few items you have on hand.
I wanted my vases to be all the same but you can also use mismatched vases for a different look. To make these vases, simply wrap a piece of cardstock around a jar or can and secure with glue or tape. You can find the white birch clipart that I printed out for my vases here.
Hot glue real or faux autumn leaves onto a twig. Fill your jars with pebbles, beans, rice or anything that will hold up your twig.
Add some additional bits of autumn décor to your arrangement.
These white birch vases will work for any season just by changing out the natural element on the twig. I’m thinking about holly berries for winter, baby’s breath for spring and I’m not quite sure about summer. Any ideas?
I hope you’ll join me tomorrow for The Inspiration Board Link Party.

Inkling: faux birch napkin rings
I found birch wood clipart on, where else…Martha’s website. You can download it here. There are a lot of craft possibilities with this clipart. I plan to make some fun things with it.
Just like my Thanksgiving napkin rings, I used paper towel rolls as a base. I printed out the clipart on cardstock and glued it to the roll. Cut them up, added a little décor and voila… holiday napkin rings.
Here’s a quick and easy project that will dress up your table. Birch wood napkin rings.

If you’re not planning on using napkin rings for dinner, just slit the rings and string them together. You’ll have a pretty birch wood garland.
