Boost Orb

Boost Orbs are items which can be equipped prior to battles in Kirby Battle Royale. Up to three can be equipped at any one time, and they boost the abilities of their user in various ways. Boost Orbs will convey an effect upon their user either by simply being present, or by being activated during a round, depending on the type. To activate a 'Tap Activation' Orb, the player must tap the orb on the lower screen of the Nintendo 3DS during a round. By contrast, a 'Set Effect Type' Orb does not need to be tapped, and will apply its effect during the entire duration of the round.

In multi-round scenarios, Boost Orbs that are tapped will not be replaced, and they cannot be swapped out for different ones in-between rounds. Boost Orbs are also available in Dedede's Cake Royale, but only a few types can be used there, and they are not unlockable until the Platinum League. To unlock Boost Orbs in Battle Mode, Gold League must be reached in Dedede's Cake Royale. Boost Orbs must also be purchased in the Collection for 400 Battle Coins each with the exception of the first one.

There are several different types of Boost Orbs. They are as follows:

Quick Charge		Tap Activation	Halves charging time for 15 seconds.
Maxim Tomato		Tap Activation	Recovers all health.
Metal		Tap Activation	Protects you for 10 seconds, but you're heavier and less mobile.		This is one of two orbs that conveys a negative effect.
Small Attack Boost		Set Effect Type	Increases attack strength by 10%.
Big Attack Boost		Tap Activation	Increases attack strength by 40% for 15 seconds.
Quick Revive		Set Effect Type	Decreases the amount of time it takes to recover.
Life Up		Set Effect Type	Raises maximum health by 40%
Power Throw		Set Effect Type	Improves throwing ability.
Big Air Bullet		Set Effect Type	Increases power and size of air bullets.
Invisibility		Tap Activation	Makes you transparent for 15 seconds.
Mega Blast		Set Effect Type	Will send foes you attack flying farther.
Cashgrabber		Set Effect Type	Raises the number of things you can steal from foes by 50%.
Deflector		Tap Activation	Brushes off attacks automatically for 60 seconds.
Superspicy Curry		Tap Activation	Lets you blow flames for 10 seconds.
Berserk		Tap Activation	Raises attack strength by 40% and mobility by 50%, but slowly drains health.		This is one of two orbs that conveys a negative effect. The health drain effect cannot KO the user.
