This huge mariner shoots a huge cannon. Steal his huge shots and return huge fire!
— Patch Plaza description

Blast Mariner is an extra large Cannon Mariner that appears at the end of Boom Boatyard in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. Unlike the other mariners, Blast Mariner cannot be avoided, thus serving as one of the few Mid-Bosses in the game.

Blast Mariner cannot be attacked directly using the Yarn Whip and is too large to jump over. He has two different methods of attack. The first has Blast Mariner fire three missiles in increasing arcs, one at a time. The second has him fire one extra large missile which slowly flies then makes a very large explosion upon landing. To defeat him, Kirby can grab the missiles mid-flight and return them to sender. Blast Mariner takes three such hits to defeat and drops a very large amount of beads upon doing so.

Locations[edit]

Blast Mariner appears exclusively in the Water Land stage Boom Boatyard.
