The Background Characters of We Bare Bears are characters seen in the backgrounds of each episode and short to help give San Francisco its depth and diversity. These characters have little to no bearing on the plots of the show. Background characters are never given names and they very rarely speak.
These characters made their first appearance in the Pilot and their main series debut in "Our Stuff" and have appeared in every episode and short since.

A Muslim woman with dark brown hair, dark skin, and is often seen wearing a red hijab. She is a student at California University.
A slender female with pale skin, thick eyebrows, and long blonde hair. She is a California University student.
A large, rather buff man. He has wavy brown hair, tan skin, and is often seen wearing his signature blue cap. He attends California University.
Two friends of Amy, one is a black woman with short, black hair, glasses, and a red bandanna headband. The other is a dark-skinned lady with red lipstick, thick eyebrows, and medium-length dark brown hair. They both seem to attend California University.
A couple seen having a nice picnic on the outskirts of the forest. They consist of a rather lean man with tan skin and brown hair wearing square black-framed glasses, a green shirt, khakis, and black shoes. His partner is a pale woman with ginger hair seen wearing a blue sweat-shirt, jeans, and olive boots.
A ginger-haired man who is assigned to the Log Drop Lodge. He announces when a ride is available and repeats the same safety precautions each time.
A Muslim women with brown hair, dark skin, white earrings, and a violet jacket.
