BTS are referenced in a recent episode of The Simpsons.
The ‘E My Sport’ episode, which aired yesterday (March 17), shows Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie making their way across a town in South Korea for a gaming competition.

As family members walk down a street, signs appear besides them that are written in a combination of Korean and English, reading: “BTS here today” and “BTS ARMY recruiting center”. The “Army” note nods to the band’s dedicated fanbase, BTS Army.
While the K-pop band do not cameo in the episode, it appears that Matt Groening and his team were keen to include a reference to South Korea’s most famous export in the episode.
The news follows an announcement last week that BTS will release their seventh studio album, ‘Map Of The Soul: Persona’, on April 12. The record arrives a year after their ‘Love Yourself’ project – ‘LOVE YOURSELF: Answer’ and ‘LOVE YOURSELF: Tea’.
Meanwhile, the group’s show on June 1 at London’s Wembley Stadium recently sold out in 90 minutes. The seven-piece have since added another date on June 2 following such huge demand.
