A Menagerie World is an Imperial classification for a planet that has become a global preserve for various types of flora and fauna. These animals are often megafauna capable of drawing paying crowds and tourists to the various curated habitats and zoos found across the world.
Perhaps the most infamous example of a Menagerie World in the Imperium is Indiga, where the animals escaped from the zoos and transformed the planet into a man-made Death World. Though a horrible outcome for the Indigan people, the result was the creation of the Indigan Praefects, regiments of the Astra Militarum whose soldiers are considered highly-skilled xenos hunters.
