Erma is a survivor of the outbreak mentioned in Image Comics' The Walking Dead. She is Dale's former wife.

Not much is known about Erma's life prior to or as the outbreak began, apart from she was married to Dale and was traveling across America.
Post-Apocalypse[]

Hardly anything is known about Erma after the outbreak except that she was bitten by zombies within the early stages of the outbreak, succumbing to the infection within half a day and turning. She was put down and buried at the campground she and Dale were staying at when she died.

Trivia[]
- In the TV Series, Erma's name is changed to Irma Horvath, as seen on the side of Dale's RV by the door. Also, in the TV Series, she died of cancer two years before the outbreak.
