You will not hurt my friends. There is nothing that will hold me back. I know who I am!
~ Zane unlocking his True Potential

Summary

Zane is the Master of Ice and a Master of Spinjitzu. Originally a creation of his father, Dr. Julien, Zane was an android (later dubbed a Nindroid due to his status as one of the ninjas) designed to help others who were weaker than himself. However, one day, he and his father were visited by the previous Master of Ice, who bestowed upon him his power, giving him an incredible power source to serve as his heart[1]. Eventually, his father died and erased his memory to spare him the pain. Zane was then found by Sensei Wu and was made part of the ninja. Eventually learning of his origin during the Second Serpentine War[2] and reuniting with his father, who had been resurrected by the King of the Underworld[3], he unlocked his true potential[2] and eventually sacrificed himself to destroy The Golden Master[4]. However, his spirit lived on[4] and recreated his body in the form of The Titanium Ninja, stronger than ever before.

Attack Potency: Star level (Held off Grief-Bringer for an extended amount of time, who could withstand a full blast from Lloyd Garmadon), higher with True Potential and Spinjitzu | At least Star level (Pushed back and overpowered Lloyd in combat.[39] Far superior to his base self) | Low Complex Multiverse level (Enhanced by Golden Power, which is stated numerous times to be the strongest power in the series, superior even to Darkness which can destroy all the Realms, including Ninjago, a 5-Dimensional Hypertimeline. Possesses 1/4th of the Golden Ultra Dragon's power, who is made of the Ninjas Elemental Powers and is a manifestation of those powers and said dragon can overpower a blast from the Crystal King and freeze him using the Element of Ice. Equal to the Oni Form which is capable of injuring the Overlord as shown by Golden Oni Lloyd) | Universe level+ (Stronger than before. Easily neutralized Kai's fire. His ice wall could hold back the Photacs for an extended amount of time. Comparable to Nya), higher with True Potential and Spinjitzu | At least Universe level+, higher with Spinjitzu, even higher with the Rising Dragon Technique (Overpowered a Shatterspin amped Nokt. The Rising Dragon Technique is stronger than Spinjitzu)

Speed: FTL with FTL reaction and combat speed (Can keep up with the other Ninjas, who scale to this feat[Statistics Values 1]) | FTL with FTL reactions and combat speed (Can keep up with Lloyd[39]) | At least FTL with FTL reaction and combat speed | FTL with FTL reactions and combat speed (Comparable to Nya) | At least FTL with FTL reaction and combat speed, higher with Spinjitzu, even higher with the Rising Dragon Technique

Striking Strength: Star level (Blocked a strike from DOTD Cryptor. Physically matched Bizzaro Zane, who was stated along with the other evil Ninjas to be as strong as the real Ninjas. Comparable to his durability), higher with True Potential and Spinjitzu | At least Star level (Could physically harm Lloyd[39]. Far superior to his base self) | Low Complex Multiverse level | Universe level+, higher with True Potential and Spinjitzu (Traded blows with Gong of Shattering amped Wolf Mask Warriors. Comparable to his own durability) | At least Universe level+, higher with Spinjitzu, even higher with the Rising Dragon Technique

Easily took blows from Lloyd) | Low Complex Multiverse level | Universe level+ (Took a blow from a Photac, who tanked a blast from Kai and Lloyd) | At least Universe level+ (Tanked an elemental explosion caused by Lloyd, Wyldfyre, Nya and himself), higher with Spinjitzu, even higher with the Rising Dragon Technique

Stamina: Infinite (His core was stated by PIXAL to be capable of constant energy without end, though forced exertion of this may cause it to overheat[4]. Should be comparable to Mr. E)

Range: Standard Melee Range, Hundreds of Meters with powers (Created an ice slide that curved around several city blocks), up to Planetary with the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, likely Interdimensional in Dragon form (Should be comparable to TGW's power over Creation, which can open portal to other realms. Should be comparable to other Dragons, which can open portal to the Ethereal Divide, which is an interdimensional realm)

Standard Equipment:

  • Shurikens of Ice: One of the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu, a pair of golden shurikens that can generate and manipulate ice.
  • Ice Elemental Blade: A blade that can generate and manipulate ice. Was created by The First Spinjitzu Master to negate The Stone Army's invulnerability to ice.
  • Ice Techno Blade: While normally unable to cut anything due to its extreme dullness, its true purpose is found when hackable technology is nearby. The blade can transform and grow in size and is able to hack any machine to fit Zane.
  • Bow and Arrows
  • Shurikens
  • Optional Equipement: Deepstone Armor, Vengestone Chains

Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Was revealed to be a Nindroid[2] and was consistently stated to be a walking computer[42] later. Comparable to other Nindroids like P.I.X.A.L. who can calculate the probability of a certain outcome[43], give a solution to the problem[5] and even predict the future based off that[44], and he also showcased ability of calculating the percentage of the outcome[21] and predicting the future based off that[22]. Moreover, he displayed 3 million simulations of fight in his head in a matter of seconds[45], knows the solar system and can navigate the rocket back to Ninjago based off that as well as knows the locations of Ninjago[4]. Should be comparable or even superior to Dr. Cyrus Borg in intelligence as he could figure out the thirteen-hundred-digit sequence code of self-destruction by just one hint Borg gave, while Borg could not remember it even though he created it and already knew it, and Zane also recognized what is Borg's invention before Cyrus even finished the sentence[7]. Cyrus himself invented most of, if not all, Ninjago's modern technology with creating a virtual reality Digiverse[46], and could make a nano-fused, neo-atomic power source, which creates an energy displacement sufficient to allow for temporal voyage via harnessing the power of the Time Blades[7]. Hacked into the library computer system in seconds[20]. Could display exactly what happened years ago as well as "enhance the visuals". Defeated Jay 101 times in chess[13]. Figured out how to solve time paradox[47], how to use Techno Blades without any previous knowledge of them[46] and how to beat Digital Overlord in his world[48]. Was capable of analyzing a sewer system and explained how they would manage to escape Chen's noodle factory through it, and even Karloff, former aeronautical engineer in Metalonia, did not understand what he said[30]. Outsmarted Cryptor who knew his every move before he even did it due to sharing the same program which even allowed Cryptor to use Airjitzu he never previously knew before[49]. Said the exact number of existing computers in Ninjago. Is consistently portrayed as smartest in the Ninjas team)

Weaknesses: Standard Elemental Master weaknesses. Due to Zane being a Nindroid his systems can be hacked and entirely shut down[20], rendering him useless in fights. Also shown to have a specific weakness to electricity.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Element of Ice: As the Master of Ice, Zane is capable of freely creating ice and structures from it, freezing foes and trapping them in ice.

  • Large ice wall: Zane is able to create large walls of ice with his powers, often using them to block attacks, and to buy time to either strategize or retreat
  • Ice slide: Zane is able to use his ice to create an ice slide for the purpose of increasing speed and momentum
  • Ice floor: Zane can use his ice to create an ice floor used for stopping opponents
  • Ice dragon: With a high level control of his power, Zane is able to create an ice dragon used for mobility and high speed and distance travel

Spinjitzu: An ancient martial art created by The First Spinjitzu Master allowing the user to spin into a vortex like tornado, increasing their speed and strength

  • Forbidden Spinjitzu: A corrupted technique that drastically increases the power and speed of one's Spinjitzu as well as the output of their element
  • Rising dragon technique: A martial art technique that comes from the mastery of one's spinjitzu, giving them tremendous power

Notable Matchups

Victories:

Losses:

  • Kai (Ninjago) Kai's profile (Post Releasement Kai and Tournament of the Source Zane were used. Speed was equalized. Starting Distance: 10m)
