Introduction[]

In Sonic the Comic, Issue #26, we see Sonic and Metal Sonic fight, jumping across a landscape all at a speed that is too fast for Amy to even perceive. This should definitely yield impressive results given the distance crossed.

Calculation[]

I'll use another calculation as for reference of Sonic's size in a spin-dash.

Spin Dash = 48.6 centimeters (Look at previous calc for confirmation)

48.6/9 = 5.4 cm/px

5.4*436 = 2354.4

5.4*269 = 1452.6

5.4*541 = 2921.4

5.4*467 = 2521.8

5.4*473 = 2554.2

5.4*488 = 2635.2

5.4*520 = 2808

5.4*191 = 1031.4

Now for the full distance crossed: 2354.4 + 1452.6 + 2921.4 + 2521.8 + 2554.2 + 2635.2 + 2808 + 1031.4 = 18279 centimeters/182.79 meters

Amy's definitely a step above the average animals of her world, she's superhuman really (She's a marksman to boot). So I'll use peak human perception for the timeframe as a low-end, and superhuman as a high-end.

182.79/0.1 = 1827.9 m/s

182.79/0.08 = 2284.875 m/s

Conclusion[]

Super Sonic and Metallix move faster than sight:

• 1827.9 m/s; Hypersonic
• 2284.875; Hypersonic

Actually lower than I expected. But then again, I didn't account for the curves due to the site I was restricted to at the time of making this. I can likely edit this with higher results by accounting for the curves later if I have the time. Anyways, this calc should be perfectly fine given Base Sonic has significantly better speed feats anyways.
