Summary
The Man is a character originating from the two music videos for A-Ha's "Take On Me" and "The Sun Always Shines on T.V.". He is a comic book character in a story about a motorcyclist who competes in a race. Though he begins to notice the existence of a woman reading his story, and brings her inside as they begin to fall in love with each other. After they go on a romantic date together, they catch the attention of two of the racers who lost in a race against The Man and in a jealous fit of rage, they attack them. In order to save her, he tears open a black space for The Girl to return to the real world. She opens up the comic again to see him injured after being attacked with a wrench, though he gets back up in order to phase through the comic and return to his lover in her 3-dimensional world where they can now pursue a romantic relationship. However, this does not last long as he cannot sustain this form and needs to return to his original world.
