So does anyone find it strange how Aleister is ranked lower than the magic gods despite being able to kill them? I mean he killed tier 2A high priest with his dog and drill and some super secret magical formula or something but doesn't that mean he has the ability to kill them meaning he should be ranked at least as high? Just wondering
- I am not familiar with the series, but didn't the magic gods diminish their power an infinite number of times to enter the human world? Antvasima (talk) 08:13, January 1, 2016 (UTC)
- He was only able to kill them or harm them in any way after he tricked them in reducing their power in order to be able to exist in the world without destroying it and even then used a trick to put an weakening spell on them. In a straight forward battle he wouldn't have been able to match a magic god (High Priest almost killed him in their short confrontation) DontTalk (talk) 15:21, January 1, 2016 (UTC)
- I understand your viewpoint and appreciate your input, but ddin't the fact that he was able to hijack zombie's spell to weaken the god's proof that he is capable of magic at that level?
- The high priest never even changed the phase of the world once even though he was going to be destroyed. I assume that meant he was incapable of change the world or even doing something as simple as making the drill before him dissapear. If Aleister was able to use a spell to weaken the gods to such a point even though it requied some prep beforehand, doesn't that put him on a level on par with the gods?
- Oh, right DontTalk would you mind taking a look at this thread? Others have made arguments a bit different from mine too. Thanks
- On the subject of that, wouldn't that make him, or at least his buffing, At least Universe level+, likely Multiverse level+, as he's scaled to their durability? The real cal howard (talk) 03:50, May 31, 2017 (UTC)
