Summary

Paragus was an elite Saiyan and Broly's father. His son's extraordinary power and potential were discovered by King Vegeta, who ordered both Paragus and Broly to be executed. Saved by Broly from the destruction of Planet Vegeta, he later uses a mind control device to control his son, who eventually broke free from it and killed Paragus.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Limited Space Survival, Martial Arts, Acrobatics, Enhanced Senses (Saiyans have exceptional senses, allowing them to locate small, distant objects^[1] by tracking their smell^[2] and see clearly over long distances^[3]), Ki Manipulation (Master Level), Flight, Accelerated Development (Batttle; Physical Stats & Abilities), Transformation (Can transform into an Oozaru, increasing his capabilities drastically, and giving him Type 1 Large Size and Breath Attack), Limited Mind Manipulation (With his ring, Paragus can specifically control Broly. However, his son would eventually break free of its control). Resistance to Radiation Manipulation (Should be capable of absorbing over 17 Million Blutz Waves to transform into a Great Ape without ill effects.^[4] Can fight in the upper atmosphere where radiation levels are exceedingly high^[5])

Additionally, he was was shown to have been a decent manipulator, fully convincing Vegeta of his false intentions, which the Saiyan prince would only have revealed to him due to Goku and Trunks' intervention. Paragus is also a clever tactician, having commissioned Krang to create means to control Broly, the likes of which knew he would be incapable of managing otherwise)

Weaknesses: Paragus needs a moon in order to transform into an Oozaru.
