Summary
Moose are the largest members of the deer family. Unlike most deer, which would run from danger, moose are aggressive beasts who stand their ground against predators. The moose has few predators, most notably wolves and tigers. Adult bulls typically weigh from 380 to 700 kg while adult cows weigh from 200 to 490 kg. The largest of all the races of moose is the Alaskan subspecies.
