Summary
Leslie Willis was a radio host in Metropolis who made a name for herself by bashing on Superman. After her boss’ wife was rescued by Superman, Leslie was fired and her show was replaced with a country station. Enraged at the loss of her job, Leslie’s metahuman ability to control electricity manifested itself, and she decided to take her anger out on Superman as the supervillain known as Livewire. She would be a recurring foe of Superman until Superman Vol. 1 #711 (July 2011), where she was reformed.

Absorbed power from Blue Beetle and made it her own[2]) and Statistics Amplification (Becomes stronger and faster when she absorbs energy[6]), Enhanced Senses (Can “feel” transmission signals[8]. Could pick up on sounds from Blue Beetle that Superman couldn’t hear[2]), Transformation (Can transform into pure energy[6]), Forcefield Creation (Can create barriers out of lightning[6])
