Summary

Azuma is the main protagonist of the Black Torch manga series. He's a seventeen year old kid who lives with his grandfather. One day he comes across a black cat who turns out to be a mononoke, or a demon, named Rago. He heals up Rago only for another mononoke to find Rago and attempt to fight him. Jirou intervenes but is killed by the enemy mononoke, urging Rago to pay his "debt" and bring him back to life by sealing himself inside the youth. The two are now joined together living in the same body.
