Summary

Cul Borson, also known as The Serpent, is an Asgardian god and the older brother of Odin, Vili, and Ve.

He was the main villain in the crossover event Fear Itself, where he used his subordinates, the Worthy, to consume the fear of all Midgardians to grow his power in order to battle Odin, who brought him down from the All-Father throne thousands of years ago. He eventually was slain by his nephew Thor, who was destined to die with him.

He was later reborn and now appointed by Odin to be the Asgardian Royal Inquisitor and Minister of Justice.

Note:

  • Thor needed a specific weapon that Odin wielded in order to kill Cul. We consider this sword, and a specific prophecy to be the reasons why Thor could defeat his much more powerful uncle.
