Summary

Cody Travers is one of the main protagonists of the Final Fight series along with Guy and Haggar and a recurring character in Street Fighter. He has fought to survive the harsh slums of Metro City since he was a kid. In Street Fighter V, he is shown to have become the new mayor of Metro City.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Expert Brawler and Martial Artist, Acrobatics, Air Manipulation, Weapon Mastery (Skilled with knives and able to use pipes, wrenchs and other items he can find around as weapons), minor Power Nullification (His Criminal Upper cancels out normal projectiles), Damage Boost (Can perform enhanced versions of his Special Attacks), Status Effect Inducement (By hitting the opponent repeteadly, without them being able to recover, he can cause them to enter the "Stun" status, which leaves them unable to react), limited Resistance to Precognition (Reading the future of fighters such as him is difficult, because they always fight[3] against it)

Same as before to a greater extent, Enhanced Senses (Was aware[4] that Zeku was following him), Attack Reflection (Can reflect projectiles with a pipe swing), further Status Effect Inducement (His Focus Attack causes the opponent to enter a "crumpling" status)

Attack Potency: Small Building level (Comparable to Guy and Haggar, with whom he vanquished the entire Mad Gear Gang, which includes the likes of Rolento, Sodom, Poison, Hugo and Abigail. Regularly escapes[5] from his prison cell by busting[6] a 50 cm thick[7] concrete wall) | City Block level (Kept training[5] even while in prison and was depicted[8] as comparable[9] to SFIV Guy)

Speed: Subsonic movement speed (Can outrun bullets to a limited degree), with Supersonic+ reactions and combat speed (Can tag Rolento in his sprinting speed, can punch faster than bullets) | High Hypersonic Travel and Combat Speed (Able to keep up with the likes of Guy and Zeku)

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (At least comparable to the likes of Rainbow Mika) | Class M (Much stronger than Zangief)

Striking Strength: Small Building level | City Block level

Durability: Small Building level (Able to take hits from heavy hitters such as Hugo and Abigail) | City Block level (Comparable to SFIV Guy)

Stamina: Superhuman (Can take on over 10 enemies all on his own, and at once, just to finish and move on to the next horde. Used to participate in brawls day and night)

Range: Standard melee range, extended melee range to several meters with weapons, several meters with projectiles.

Intelligence: Above Average (A very skilled combatant who makes use of both martial arts and underworld brawling. Helped vanquishing the Mad Gear Gang facing all of its members, often taking on many of them at the same time. Took part in many brawls, but is also able to give a hard time to actual fighters such as Rolento, Guy and Zeku. Is an excellent improviser, being able to use the environment to his advantage and turn pretty much anything he gets his hands on in a weapon. Is especially good with knives and dirty tricks[6], including throwing stones and dust, crushing eyes and holding down the opponents using the handcuffs he used to wear. Can somewhat get his job as a mayor done, despite his habit to avoid any responsibility)

Weaknesses: Tends to hold back. Very lazy, and grows bored of most things due to how things went after he and Jessica broke up. Addicted to fighting. | None notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Final Combination: Cody delivers a series of punches at the opponent and finishes with an uppercut or a throw
  • Axel Knuckle: Cody cups his hands together, reels back, and slams his fists on the opponent
  • Hammer Kick: Cody steps forward and delivers a soccer kick that hits his opponent
  • Air Raid Punch: Cody performs an uppercut in midair, and then lands a downward punch to knock the opponent to the ground
  • Air Raid Kick: Cody performs an airborne knee strike and finishes the air combo with a swift, high kick
  • Focus Attack: A heavy move that grants an augmented defense to the user during the execution and, if it lands, makes the opponent crumple

  • Prisoner Throw: Cody grabs his opponent and pulls them over his shoulder
  • Bad Stomp: Cody mounts on the opponent and stomps them on the ground
  • Trash Out: Cody grabs his opponent by the collar, delivers a headbutt and pulls them over his shoulder, causing them to crash on the ground
  • Crime Throw: Cody first grabs his opponent and delivers two knee strikes in the midsection. He then pulls the opponent over his shoulder, flipping them over and causing them to land on their back
  • Secret Work: During Dirty Coach,Cody grabs his opponent and delivers a knee strike to the midsection. He then swings the pipe down on top of their head follows up by bashing his opponent three times on the ground

  • Bad Stone: Cody picks ups and throws a stone at the opponent
  • Criminal Upper: Cody quickly turns and delivers an uppercut which creates a tornado. This move can also negate projectiles
  • Ruffian Kick: Cody steps forward and performs a sliding kick. This move can result in a high, mid or low kick
  • Bad Spray: When knocked down, Cody tosses sand at the opponent while getting up
  • Zonk Knuckle: Cody strikes the opponent with a powerful hook
  • Tornado Sweep: Cody performs a sidearm throwing motion to shoot a swirling gust of wind toward his opponent

  • Dead End Irony: Cody performs a Ruffian Kick. He then jumps and throws a double front kick and a jumping kick. Upon landing, he then throws a roundhouse kick and then a jump roundhouse kick and a final kick that launches the opponent

    • Final Destruction: Cody throws a spinning hook and continues to deliver a punch, a stomach blow, a jaw punch, a spinning fifth punch and finishes by delivering a powerful Criminal Upper that sends the opponent sky high
    • Last Dread Dust: Cody kicks a long cloud of dust at his opponent, and follows up by pulling out a wrench and attacking the opponent four times. He then strikes with an uppercut, launching his opponent sky high. As they come down, Cody pulls out a steel pipe and swings the pipe baseball-style into the opponent's back, sending them face-first into the wall
    • Criminal Punisher: Cody delivers a powerful Criminal Upper that generates a giant tornado

    • Prison Breaker: After blocking an attack, Cody performs a backflip with his leg stretched out, kicking his opponent and knocking them backwards
    • Double Kick: Cody jumps and spins around once, while performing a sidekick forwards and backwards in midair
    • Crime Sway: Cody sways to the side to avoid an attack. Cody can perform Wrench Fist, a violent hook punch to knock his opponent back. Otherwise, he can performs Lumbar Sweep, a spinning sweep to knock down his opponent
    • Side Arm: Cody reaches behind his back and pulls out a knife to use against his opponent. Cody gains access to several new attacks with the knife, with the most relevant being Snipe Shot (Cody throws his knife at his opponent. He can also throw it upward to hit an airborne opponent) and Rapid Fire (Cody transitions to a reverse grip with his knife and delivers seven rapid slashes to his opponent)
    • Dirty Coach: Cody pulls out a pipe and gains access to new attacks. The notable attacks are Gentle Swing (Cody swings the pipe, dealing damage and reflecting projectiles), Present Delivery (Cody tosses a rock and swings the pipe to send the rock to the opponent) and Toss & Smash (Cody grabs his pipe with both hands, winds up, and delivers a massive swing that sends his opponent flying)
