Summary

Axton is a Vault Hunter and a former member of DAHL's private military force. A glory-seeker by nature, his constant insubordination and reckless behavior led him to botch numerous important missions, leading his frustrated wife (who happened to be his superior officer) to divorce him and dishonorably discharge him from the military. After she "suggested" that he go AWOL to avoid his impending execution, he became a mercenary-for-hire until he was brought to Pandora by promises of action and glory while searching for the Vault.

• Sabre Turret: Axton deploys an automatic turret that can attach to almost any surface and is primed to fire three seconds after deployment. This turret can increase the amount of damage its targets take with slag rounds, create a forcefield for cover, create a miniature nuclear blast once thrown, and boost his abilities while it's active. Axton can throw two turrets at the same time if he wants to.
