Albino the Conqueror is the main antagonist of the 2024 Disney/Lego based fanfilm Ninjago, which is the first installment of the Ninjago Fanfilm Universe.

He is the former general of The Albinions as well as the king of the Serpentine. He was known for killing his own tribe to further his goals. He aims to release The Great Devourer so it shall assist him in destroying or conquering Ninjago City. He is based on Pythor P. Chumsworth of the official franchise. He is also the archenemy of Lloyd Garmadon, whom he at first manipulated for his own gain.

History[]

Albino was one of the five Serpentine generals in his past, leading the treacherous tribe of The Albinions during the Great War between humanity and the Serpentine. When the five separate Serpentine tribes got locked up in tombs as a punishment for their tyranny, Albino and his minions got locked up inside a desert tomb, and out of hunger as well as ambition and rage for war and chaos, Albino ate the other members of his tribe all alive. He plotted for many years to release the devourer from it's tomb as an act of revenge, once someone else would free him from his tomb.

Eventually, after a few decades, Lloyd Garmadon released Albino from his imprisonment via magic, as Lloyd intended to find a loyal snake who wouldn't betray him just like the other tribes, and would help him in his goals to conquer Ninjago. Albino pledges his loyalty to Lloyd, manipulating him by telling him that in order to scheme against Ninjago, Lloyd would need a base of operations. After Lloyd with obsessive intentions of conquering Ninjago magically digs and finds the city of Ouroboros which has appeared from the ground magically, Albino reveals that he was planning to become the king of all Serpentine and unite them so he could find the four fang blades with their help and release The Great Devourer so it shall destroy Ninjago completely and help him conquer what's left. Albino imprisons Lloyd and orders his chief commander Scar to watch over him and the other prisoner who was Harumi, the adopted princess of Ninjago.

As part of their ceremony, Scar brings Lloyd and Harumi to witness Albino's destruction from the inside of a small cage. One of the Serpentine generals from the Fangpyre tribe, the female warrior called Snakina, has opposed the idea of Albino becoming the leader of the Serpentine. She claims that he doesn't have the honor which the other Serpentine members stick to. Out of rage, Albino kills her ruthlessly by using a torch which Scar gave him to burn her, and therefore, he was successful at convincing all the others to follow him. However, the ninja come to foil his plans and rescue Lloyd and Harumi. The ninjas were successful, but they had to go with Sensei Wu and Garmadon to the park so they could prevent the Serpentine from releasing the Great Devourer and becoming a much larger threat. The Serpentine under Albino's leadership arrive at the park and find a worker there, forcing him to reveal the Hypnobrai fang blade's location. Albino and his army meet the ninja inside the tomb after Harumi has betrayed Lloyd and the ninjas. Harumi temporarily sides with The Serpentine, handing them all the other fang blades earlier than expected by Albino. Albino travels back to Ouroboros and leaves the ninjas inside cages while Scar watches over them inside a volcano, with the other Serpentine meanwhile being commanded by Scar until Albino is done with his scheme. Albino quickly places the fang blades together inside Ourborous, which this action has magically released The Great Devourer. However, before the devourer appears, Wu comes, followed by the other ninja. Wu warns Albino that the devourer would even destroy him and his Serpentine. At first, Albino is obsessed with revenge, and he ignores Wu's warning. Only when the devourer is about to eat him, Albino gets very frightened. The Devourer then swallows the tyrannical snake alive, presumably killing him or turning him into a white snake, as his name suggests it is the latter.

Personality[]

Albino the Conqueror is a cunning, sneaky and manipulative devil whom only cares about himself and his own desire for obsessive revenge on humanity. He uses many others for his own gain, and he doesn't even care for other Serpentine and their lives, willing to sacrifice them to release The Great Devourer on Ninjago. Only when he realizes that he is about to be devoured by such a large monster, he begins acting like a selfish coward, pointing out how egoistic he really is. He also lacks the honor which other serpents stick to, as shown when Snakina points that out and he as a result out of ego burns her alive. Albino is power hungry, obsessed with not only wiping out humanity, but also reshaping and controlling all that might be left.

Trivia[]

  • Albino is the counterpart of Pythor from the original franchise, having a different shape of appearance. However, he also lacks many of the traits which Pythor had.
    • First, Pythor had honorable traits towards his Serpentine army, while Albino was even willing to kill them when they disobeyed him or showed any signs of remorse or disagreement.
    • Pythor had to help the Ninja defeat Chen remarking that anyone can change and showing signs of inner conflict of being good or returning to his evil old ways, while Albino does not seem to have yet any excuses or changes of heart.
      • However, in the future, Albino might reappear and become a better or at least more honorable and sympathetic character.
  • Albino might have been the main antagonist of the first fanfilm, but the film's creator already confirmed that Garmadon is "a more threatening villain".
