Agent Zar and Agent X are the central antagonists turned supporting characters of Summer Edition 7: June Arc. Though not necessarily evil by any means, they take extremist measures to capture the Myles Bots under orders from Leonard McLeish and the Diamond Dazzle Dancers. When Leonard McLeish’s villainous role is delayed and the Diamond Dazzle Dancers are killed, Agent X redeems himself joining the Myles Bots and becoming a series regular as of the July Arc “Fridah of Premieres”.

History[]

After Leonard’s sleep-deprived delusions cause Zachary Delightful, Lily Loud, Pan and Sprig Plantar to be mistaken for dangerously contagious individuals, the United States sends in supernatural investigators and Other Side bounty hunters Agent January Zar and Agent Death X. When Zachary and the former two are knocked out and captured by the Other Side under being accused of being ogres, Zar and X interrogate the three revealing themselves to be the masterminds of Athena being remanded in a psych ward. The two also reveal themselves to be responsible for the wedge between Zachary and his former friends thus turning out to be the main villains of the arc. In order to investigate the supernatural world further, the two plan to dissect Pan as Zachary is human while Lily Loud is a clone of a 2-year old. Zar states it’s understandable to spare Lily as the two are not evil and are just trying to protect humanity from the alien invasion that occurred on the day after Father’s Day. X then reveals that since Chloe the pup is a sign of being pure evil, they decide to kill Sprig Plantar as a substitute. After revealing that they captured Sprig and sent him to the psychiatric ward, the three save Sprig and escape from capture. Zar and X then altered the bounty so the hit is on Zachary, Lily, Pan and Sprig rather than Spike. Zar and X then vow to find the remaining new recruits, kill them off or crush their dreams and save their government from subjugation as X sings a villain song cementing the two as the antagonists of the arc. Afterwards, Zar and X frame Dave Seville of murder and has him and the Chipmunks drugged. Planning to obtain proof, the two use a belief that clumsiness is a disease as proof for their delusions against the Myles Bots. The two investigators now firmly believe Zachary and friends are criminals while several people including the Bubble Guppies think Zachary, Lily, Pan and Sprig had been infected with “grumpiness”. As Zar and X mistakenly think the gang is a group of dangerous criminals, the town collapses into unrest and paranoia while the two become apocalyptic believers of the psych ward vision that Woodstock had. By the end of their debuts, they become apocalyptic believers and remain in this stance for the remainder of the June Arc. A few flashes to the past and future later, Zar and X capture the crew including the reserve members and Sprig. Vengeful towards their arch-enemies for releasing magic into their world and ridding them of their purposes, the two vow to “save” the world from their slanderous misdeeds. However, Pony Bramley reveals himself to be the Gold Killer affecting their delusions. When Huey becomes disillusioned when he thinks Zachary is a FOWL agent and X and Zar confront the latter, he reveals Chuck’s past sins to them. The situation cleared up for them, Zar and X defect from the corrupt government and join Zachary in defeating Pony, Andrew and the asylum officials. Now redeemed, Zar and X join Zachary in saving Lily and Athena from the BND asylum and defeating the killer’s forces. While Lily was freed from prison, she was disowned by Zachary while Sloth, Sloth’s friend and inventor Data and villain creation Umbrae try to reason with the now-evil 21-year old. Fortunately for them, Xibalba’s disillusioned and callous nature as well as Sergio’s death helps Zachary snap out of his perfectionist methods. After being akumatized into Windflower, Agent X defects from the Other Side and joins Windflower, Data and Umbrae in fighting off Wet-Fire. As the four fight against him and The Aviator, Umbrae uses her mental disabilities to her advantage feigning broken legs to kill The Aviator before he can alert Wet-Fire to the Myles Bots’ future. Agent X rechristens himself as Cole Young and uses a minor scandal to boost Windflower’s reputation to be the same level as Data, Umbrae and his. The Myles Bots now reassembled, the four retreat to a new Homebase despite not knowing where to go now that they’re to be on the run.

Appearance[]

Agent Zar resembles Erin Moriarty and Agent X resembles PIXAL as Samurai X. Later on, Agent X is akumatized resembling Cole Young from Mortal Kombat 2021.

Personality[]

From the very start, Zar and X are deviously antagonistic and willing to take extremist methods to eliminate nonhumans everywhere. It gets to the point where they commit incrimination and murder to achieve their goals. However, the two are simply misguided and only commit crimes because they mistakenly think it’s the only measure that would lure in the future new recruits and possible alien threats. Zar is manipulative and devious calculating any obstacles before deceiving them with obvious delusions. X, on the other hand, is murderous and silent willing to kill anyone under Pony’s orders to investigate the anomalies in the town. In spite of their actions, they are affably evil due to the villainy stemming from a noble quest to protect the planet from any dangerous anomalies. When the repercussions behind their “heroism” is revealed, they become more sincere and loyal. After their redemption, they set out to clear their former enemies’ name. X becomes more helpful and cunning as he aided Windflower and used a rescue to his advantage to make the four look good.

Trivia[]

  • At first glance, Andrew is advertised as the main antagonist due to his revenge plot. However, it is revealed to be a misadvertisement campaign to hide Agent Zar and Agent X as the villains due to them having bigger plans than everyone else albeit misguided in their efforts.
    • However, it’s merely the first half as the second half reveals Pony Bramley and later Rayna Manta as the villain.
