Zoila Diaz is one of the main protagonists of the Lifetime dramedy Devious Maids.

Zoila is a housemaid who works for the wealthy and comedic socialite, Genevieve Delatour and she is also her friend and is the daughter of Valentina Diaz.

Zoila is a control freak, but is actually a tragic villainess, as she has reasons for her doings, such as her trying to tear apart Valentina and Genevieve's son, Remi Delatour because she once dated Genevieve's brother, but he cheated on her and thus broke Zoila's heart.

Therefore, she doesn't want the same thing to happen to Valentina yet she still tore them apart, again.

However, Zoila can be controlling, manipulative and rather mean in her goals.

However, her daughter having space from her and her husband, Pablo leaving her has really redeemed Zoila.
