Yuki Shien (紫苑優輝) is the main antagonist of Death Note: New Generation and its sequel movie Death Note: Light Up the New World.
He is a cyberterrorist who worships Light Yagami after the latter murdered the killer who killed his family.
He was portrayed by Masaki Suda.
Biography[]
When he was a boy, Yuki's family was murdered and he survived. He was raised in an orphanage after his family's death. Eventually, Light Yagami killed the murderer of his family, and Yuki became devoted to him. After Light's disappearance, Yuki searched for him and became a cyberterrorist to help the world.
Yuki is first seen searching for Karin Kanamoto's video where she has a Death Note, as Yuki seeks to collect the Death Notes. As Yuki hacks Karin's laptop, he soon learns the message was from Sakura Aoi, who picked up the notebook from Karin.
After accquiring his Death Note, he uses it to kill Kazutoshi Namaki and Taichi Kunugida, two criminals who killed a family and were freed ten years later. In Light Up the New World, Yuki continues his search for the Death Notes. He crosses paths with Sakura Aoi who had a Death Note, and Yuki killed her in the middle of her killing spree, but he is unable to get the notebook as the task force is already in the scene. He uses his Death Note to coerce the Chief of Justice to hand over the other notebook with a message to the task force. In the meantime, he retrieved the two notebooks from Alexey Ivanov and Roger Irving, killed them both. He asked Misa Amane for help upon restoring her memories, for his own gain.
During a standoff against Ryuzaki and Mishima, Yuki was fatally wounded as he hands the Death Notes to Mishima before going down by the attackers.
