Shirley is a minor antagonist in Dragalia Lost. She serves as the main antagonist for the second half of Notte's Adventurer story.
Appearance[]
Shirley is a faerie with blonde hair and green eyes. She dons a white and pink dress. she also has green wings.
She shares this appearance with female generic faeries.
Biography[]
Notte's Adventurer Story[]
When Notte is separated from the party during a fiend attack, she is attacked by fiends only to be saved by Shirley. When Shirley finds out that Notte is able to change size, Shirley reveals to her an faerie ability called metamorphosis. She then helps Notte learn the technique herself, with Notte being able to taking on her bigger form. However, Notte expresses desire to learn how to take on her adult form, which Shirley is confused about due to it not being something she ever witness.
While training, Euden finds the two faeries. Upon witnessing that Notte's friend is a human, Shirley calls off their training and leaves to talk with an unseen individual. She later continues her training with Notte. However, this ends up being a ruse to follow Notte to Euden and the others, where she uses lullaflies to put everybody except Notte to sleep with intention to kill them, especially Euden.
There, she reveals to Notte that humans killed her sister and she tells Notte that Euden will become a threat to the world. However, Notte refuses to let Shirley hurt her friends and fights her. Notte is overwelmed due to her lack of experience, and it looks as if Shirley is going to finish her off. Just then, Notte becomes more determined to keep her promise to Euden and takes on her adult form in front of Shirley, turning the tables.
Witnessing this, Shirley tells Notte that her desire to protect the ones she loves is what allows her to take on such a form. She also admits that Notte's choice to protect Euden renders them unable to be friends and also tells her that the lullaflies' effect will wear off over time. Knowing she can't beat Notte, Shirley tells Notte about Euden be a potential threat again before leaving. Notte responds that she won't let Euden become that kind of monster.
