Pyron is the main antagonist of the UDON comic adaptations of Darkstalkers and Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors. He is an egotistical and sadistic deity who seeks to destroy Earth.

Biography[]

Pyron is a being born on Planet Hellstorm, a planet which lived by the fundamentals that only the strong survived. Pyron later reached the pinnacle of evolution of his species and then discarded his physical appearance to become a god-like being made of energy. His planet wasn’t able to hold him and Pyron discovered a deepening hunger that could only be satisfied by devouring planets.

Pyron then proceeded to devour his own planet. But still unsatisfied, Pyron then searched the universe for planets to consume, one of which being what would become Earth. Pyron then creates a legion of Huitzil bots to monitor its development, believing the planet will grow to have life. Pyron decided to leave the planet and to let it ripen before destroying it. Pyron then scoured the universe for other worlds, the search took him to the universe’s furthest limits, in which he destroyed and devoured countless planets and wiped out countless species.

Much later on, Pyron then heads back on Earth after hearing from his Huitzils and he is excited about how much it has ripened. When he arrives, he decides to fight the two strongest people on the Earth for his amusement instead of just devouring the planet, stating he hasn’t felt the thrill of combat in millennia.

He then finds Demitri and Morrigan fighting each other. Pyron then shows up in the middle of their battle and then attempts to kill them both for his amusement and then battles then both for a bit. Pyron then notices Donovan and Antina and then tells his Huitzil bots to subdue them while he finishes his “meal”. Donovan defeats his bots and makes his way to Pyron, Pyron then attempts to kill him too and then attempts to burn him alive before Anita uses her powers to stun the being, which allows Demitri to sneak behind him, sink his teeth into his neck, drain his power and kill him.
