Night Rogue is the leader of the enigmatic organization Faust and a major antagonist in Kamen Rider Build. His true identity is Gentoku Himuro, son of Touto Prime Minister Taizan Himuro and head of the Touto Institute of Advanced Matter Physics.
He is responsible for the experiments carried out on Sento Kiryu and Ryuga Banjou and later for abducting Ryuga's girlfriend Kasumi and turning her into a Smash. As one of the people who was struck by the light of Pandora's Box when it was first opened, Gentoku has developed a twisted and deluded mental state, fearing an invasion from Touto's neighboring regions and seeking to conquer and unify the rest of Japan.
In pursuit of this goal, Gentoku founded Faust with infamous Pandora's Box researcher Takumi Katsuragi and former astronaut Soichi Isurugi, taking up the alias "Night Rogue" as a member of the organization. Faust was formed to conduct experiments on humans with Nebula Gas for the purpose of innovating the Touto military so it would be able to defend an invasion from Hokuto and Seito.
After his crimes are unearthed and he is banished from Touto, Gentoku is then left with nowhere to go to but Faust's benefactors, Namba Heavy Industries Ltd.. Following a period of intense training in a concentration camp run by the company, Gentoku raised his Hazard Level high enough to wield a Sclash Driver and became the Kamen Rider of Seito, Kamen Rider Rogue. However, his raised Hazard Level also negated Pandora's Box's effects on his psyche, and Gentoku eventually would defect from Namba's side and join the heroes, becoming one of the main protagonists of the series.
Gentoku serves as the main antagonist of the "Birth" arc and later as a major antagonist in the second half of the "War" arc. He also appears as the protagonist of the three-part ROGUE Blu-Ray miniseries which details his origins and how he became Night Rogue, and the "Kamen Rider Prime Rogue" special.
He was portrayed by Kensei Mikami, who also played Teru Mikami in the 2016 live action Death Note film. In the Korean dub, he was voiced by Nakyoon Choi.

Transformation Lessons ~The Laws Of Transformation Are Set!~[]
Gentoku Himuro appears in the second episode "Night Rogue Chapter" where he attempts to film a video of him transforming into Night Rogue for FausTube, but has to restart several times after his cameramen tell him he is acting too scary. Eventually, Gentoku is able to complete his transformation into Night Rogue. He then attempts to demonstrate his Steam Rifle's finisher, Steam Shot, only for it to destroy the camera, ending the video.
Personality[]
As Night Rogue, Gentoku displays an arrogant and cold personality, treating people as mere guinea pigs and gleefully experimenting on them. He seems to enjoy using people's loved ones against them in order to keep them under his thumb, or just to be cruel to them, as shown when he turned Ryuga's girlfriend Kasumi into a Smash and made him listen as the transformation was taking place. Gentoku was also quick to let out emotional outbursts, and is susceptible to episodes of paranoia and aggression, desperately attempting to convince his father to improve the military believing that Hokuto and Seito are out to invade Touto. This paranoid and controlling personality stemmed from his exposure from the Pandora Box.
As his regular self, Gentoku keeps a composed and cool demeanor. He is a smooth talker, though he switches to being fierce when he is commanding his soldiers. He also seems to care for his father, and was worried for him when he suffered a heart attack that left him in the hospital, though this was soon superceded by his glee at the fact that this left him as the acting Prime Minister of Touto. In private though, Gentoku is prone to mad outbursts, a sign of his mind being warped due to the Pandora's Box's influence Gentoku also displays some lecherous traits, as he attempted to lure Sawa Takigawa to a hotel room when she was interviewing him. It is implied though that this is also due to the Pandora's Box, as in the new world when Sawa interviews him for the first time he greets her much more politely and formally.
Post his redemption, Gentoku generally remains silent, having become somewhat emotionless due to the training he endured to become Kamen Rider Rogue, though he also has an improved mental state. He is shown to feel guilty for the crimes he committed in the past as Night Rogue and as the commander of Seito's forces, and displays a desire to atone and lay the foundation for a new generation. As revealed by Evolt, Gentoku's nicer personality is due to his Hazard Level being above 4 and thus nullifying that Pandora Box's effects on his personality that made him power hungry and cruel.
Eventually, as he warms up to the rest of Team Build Gentoku begins to display the more comedic aspects of his personality to the rest of Team Build. He is shown to have a rather odd fashion sense, preferring overly extravagant clothes that are generally odd for a casual setting, such as the Jamaican-style robes and hat he wears in episode 41. He also enjoys wearing dress shirts and sometimes communicates by wearing shirts that say what he is thinking, something that annoys Sawa. Despite the two not trusting each other at first, Gentoku develops a camaraderie with Kazumi Sawatari and the two often go into battle together.

- BLD Ride Port - The extension device outlet located at the top of the Build Driver. When transforming into a hazard form, attach a Hazard Trigger to this part.
- Qualifier - A type of safety device built into the Build Driver. By scanning the body data, it is automatically determined whether or not the wearer is a system compliant person, and if it is a compliant person, the transformation function is normally activated.
- Adjust Bind - The belt part of the Build Driver. It is usually stored inside the driver and automatically wraps around the wearer's waist when transforming. The length of the belt is adjusted according to the wearer's body shape and clothing.
- Fullbottle Holder - Fullbottle Holder. It is possible to load up to 3 arbitrary Fullbottles.[9]

Trivia[]
- Gentoku participates in the opening recaps for episodes 19, 41 and 45.
- Gentoku is the only one of the six Kamen Riders in the show to not be possessed by Evolt at any point in time.
- After being fatally wounded in the final battle against Evolt, Gentoku's shadow stays as his Kamen Rider form despite him having been blasted out of his transformation, signifying that he has become a true hero.
