Milah was the former wife of Rumplestiltskin, mother of Baelfire, and former Love Interest of Captain Hook. She is a character from ABC's series Once Upon a Time.
She is portrayed by guest star Rachel Shelley.
Before the First Curse[]

Milah's marriage with Rumplestiltskin continues to deplete as she secretly keeps company with Killian and his crew at the local tavern, without her husband's knowledge. One day, Rumplestiltskin arrives to the tavern, beckoning her home. Milah initially refuses, but she relents after Baelfire begins calling for her. Later, while laying in bed, she expresses displeasure to Rumplestiltskin of her current life. Milah wishes to leave village life so they can explore and see the rest of the world. Oblivious to her concerns, Rumplestiltskin asks her to try to make their marriage work for their son's sake. She agrees reluctantly, but during the night, she leaves behind both her husband and son to join Killian on an adventure travelling the seas and became a pirate since, abandoning her family and faked her death. Never seen again
By the next morning, Rumple received word that Milah has been kidnapped by Killian. The Shepherd begs Killian to return his wife, but he is too afraid to fight the pirate and returns home alone after the Captain told him she is dead. Ashamed of his own cowardice, Rumplestiltskin lies to Baelfire, telling him that his mother is dead.
Death[]
After Rumple became the new dark one, he was given info by Mr. Smee, who requests for immortality in exchange, about Hook holding a magic bean. A ticket to getting back his son, Bea, who fell through a portal to another world. He approached Hook and challenges him to a duel for the magic bean and to avenge Milah. Rumple won the fight and was going to make the final blow, until Milah, alive and as a pirate, approached, begging him to stop, shocking Rumple, seeing her death as a lie. She clarifies that Killian never kidnapped her, and she went willingly with him due to their mutual love for each other. While Rumplestiltskin is seething over this, Milah holds out the red hat of his associate, Smee, and reveals that she is in possession of the magic bean he so desires. In exchange for the item, she wants Rumplestiltskin to leave her and Killian alone. To carry out the deal, Rumplestiltskin ascends onto the deck of Killian's ship and demands her how could she leave their son behind (which was the same way Rumple's father did to him as a child). Milah retorts that she has lived with the regret of leaving Baelfire, but couldn't stay in a loveless marriage with Rumplestiltskin. At one point, he moves to grab the bean from her hand, but she throws it to Killian. When she claims to have never loved him, Rumple furilously rips her heart out for this. Collapsing in Killian's arms, she proclaims her undying love for him just as the dark one crushes the heart to ash, killing her instantly. Hook tries to kill him, but the Dark One cut off his hand that appears to be carrying the bean.
When Rumple returned to his lair with Hook's hand, he finds the bean is not in it, destroying his goal to finding Bae. Hook still had the bean, using it to travel to Neverland, while running a burial ceremony for Milah and making Smee a new member of his crew.
Legacy[]
Since her death, Hook has been hunting down the Dark one for years in revenge to kill him and avenge Milah, even if it means killing innocents.
Life in the Underworld[]
When she died, Milah worked as a crossing guard on Main Street in the Underworld.
Trivia[]
- Milah revealed to be just like Rumple's father Malcolm and was no better than him, whether she admits it or not. For like she did to Bae, Malcolm abandoned Rumple for his own selfish deeds. Rumple and Bae share the same torture. Like father, like son.
- Milah is another female pirate love interest to Captain Hook, like Captain Elizabeth Bonny from Neverland (2011) in the Peter Pan Universe.
