Michelle Amar, also known as Murmur, is a major antagonist in Season 9 of the TV series The Flash.
She is a serial killer in Central City who begins working for the Red Death following the Anti-Monitor's defeat in the Crisis of 2019. The character was previously adapted as Michael Amar in Arrow.
Murmur, yeah... we did a story on her last year. She's an angry med student turned serial killer who has now teamed up with a pair of ruthless tech thieves.

~ Iris West-Allen to Kristen Kramer about Michelle Amar
Michelle Amar was originally a med student until she suffered some kind of breakdown and became a crazed serial killer known as Murmur. She also stitched her mouth shut and learned how to communicate using sign language, much like the original Murmur.
Working for the Red Death[]
Amar became a member of the Red Death's Rogues after being given nano-circuit knives developed by Wayne Enterprises, to up her game. She helps Owen Mercer and Andrea Wozzeck steal a Temporal Scanner from Corbin Taft Industries and kills a security guard by stabbing him in the back with her blade. The trio then infiltrate a military base to obtain a power source to complete the Red Death's Cosmic Treadmill. Amar fights Hartley Rathaway and escapes with the power source along with the rest of the Rogues thanks to Red Death intervening.
Amar is present at the Red Death's lair when Mark Blaine betrays the group by blowing up the Cosmic Treadmill, preventing the evil speedster from returning to her timeline. Murmur attacks Blaine along with Mercer, Waozzeck and Roy Bivolo, giving the Flash enough time to escape with Iris. Amar then invades CCPD with the others and assists Mercer with setting up a satellite uplink on the roof in order for the Red Death to create psychic extensions of herself around the world through a combination of technology and Grodd's telepathic power. However, Barry convinces Grodd to turn on the Red Death and combine their powers to disconnect the satellite feed causing the dish next to Amar to explode knocking her and Mercer unconscious. Amar and her companions are presumably apprehended following the Red Death's defeat and sent to Iron Heights prison.
Trivia[]
Unlike the original Murmur introduced in Arrow, Michelle's medical background align's with her comic book counterpart, as well as the suit and mask she wears as Murmur.
