The Imagined Order (Often referred to IO or The Order) are one of the main antagonistic organizations in Fortnite: Battle Royale that were active for thousands of years. They are a inter-dimensional faction that maintain "order" within The Omniverse, via of using The Zero Point.

Overview[]

Imagined Order, often referred to as just IO, is a ancient faction that had been in charge of The Loop for many years ago. They had been living in the shadows until Chapter 2: Season 2, where The Looper got rifted into The Bridge during The Device Event. They used the Zero Point to traverse and manipulate realities to make a "perfect" civilization in Geno's vision, and created The Loop to "research" and gather the best fighters. According to The Foundation, they threaten to upset The Omniverse's balance, but for them this price was acceptable as long as it allowed them to quench their thirst for knowledge and power.

They made recruits take an oath to dedicate their life to The Order. They would also give Island Management Team members immortality and protection as long as they stay on Reality Zero. Based on the info Jones took from the IO database, they seem to have at least 4862 sites and 5 "levels" of ranks (excluding the Inner Circle).

Timeline[]

Before Chapter 1[]

Geno explores The Zero Point and enslaved it in order to use it to access all Realities. In an unknown reality, the Oathbound is formed by Geno and becomes their champion, but leaves a Snapshot (The Ageless) to rule them and later abandons them and later founded Imagined Order to protect and have all realities perfect. In Reality Zero, the IO creates The Bridge as their headquarters, The Vault and bases around The Zero Point at the epicenter of the Island. They start experimenting with the Zero Point, one being sent to Agent Jones into the Zero Point to see what will happen. Jones discovers The Loop, and other contemptible actions. Their actions made The Seven to form in retaliation.

The IO form The Loop using The Zero Point and capture people from different Realities, forcing them to fight each other. Geno "creates" The Imagined and The Order and modified them to be perfect. He puts them into the Loop and bets that they would be first to flee. Though making Geno replaced them with their stronger Snapshots. To keep the full control, they build rooms and areas in The Bridge to control The Storm, Loot and Chests in Athena Island to distract the Loopers and prevent them from trying to escape the Loop. They recruit Loopers and Snapshots to their army as IO Guards and higher ranking soldiers.

They capture The Cube King after they found out that the Cubes are evil. But he later eventually gets rescued by The Seven and goes by the name of The Origin.

Season 5[]

A group of Enforcers are sent by IO, as after the Sideways Rift is about to close, The Enforcers groups starts returning objects that previously disappeared through a interdimensional dimension.

Season 7[]

The IO took over a small island made of ice and make it into the Snowy Bunker to experiment Rifts as well as to use as an entrance to The Bridge, their main headquarters.

Season 9[]

After The Devourer bursts out from Polar Peak, but although they were worried that The Devourer would hurt The Zero Point. The Paradigm, who was also captured at some point, instead volunteers to pilot a Mech to defeat the Devourer, but the IO threatens her that if she doesn't do it their way, they would create a Doomsday Device to destroy The Loop. Singularity and her troops start construction of the Mecha Team Leader at Pressure Plant. The Seven thinks that The Paradigm has managed to escape by herself. The Origin, not believing she could escape by herself, thinks she got inside help to him escape. She would later be called a traitor for helping the IO.

The Final Showdown[]

The Devourer rises from the ocean and escapes Polar Peak, head towards The Vault. The Mecha Team Leader leaves Pressure Plant and fights the Devourer. Mecha Team Leader later destroys The Vault and pulls out The Zero Point. It goes for Singularity's statue and pulls it out, revealing to be a giant sword. Devourer attacks back but Mecha Team Leader uses the sword in it's head, caused The Devourer to get killed with no sweat. It then flies to The Ice Moon, leaving the Island for a long while.

Season X[]

The Zero Point breaks out of The Vault after The Final Showdown. The IO manipulates The Seven into destabilizing the Zero Point and giving it to them without destroying The Bridge on the way. The Seven launch 7 Rockets that creates a Rift in front of The Meteor, making it crash onto The Zero Point, creating a Black Hole that leads to Apollo.

Chapter 2: Season 1[]

Jones uses The Zero Point and his Portal Device to bring the best Hunters across Realities to cause chaos and keep away Loopers from The Zero Point. He brings all the hunters, but ends up damaging The Zero Point more as he creates Portals that push The Zero Point's capabilities and energy up to its limits. Jones realizes the IO aren't doing anything about The Zero Point destabilizing, so he tries fixing it himself but in order to do that, he needs to access 'Restricted File 8752', The Seven's file information. He tries accessing the file, but his credentials have been revoked. He goes rogue and makes a plan, using his Portal Device to bring a The Seven's leader to Apollo.

Zero Crisis Finale[]

In the Battle Bus, Doctor Slone tells Jones not to go to The Seven and as his rift gun falls and Jones jumps down and saying he is going to need it and falls into the bush and survives then takes off his earphone and steps on it. A meteor later crashes onto the island revealing to be The Seven's leader (The Foundation) inside, The Foundation doesn't trust Jones at first, but then Agent Jones mentioning Geno as he can get The Foundation to Geno and The Sisters after their short fight ends. They seal their deal and fix The Zero Point successfully, with The Foundation went inside The Zero Point and seals it up with himself inside and creating The Spire to have it to restore.

The Spire Cult sent by IO are tasked to protect The Spire and Guardian Towers, they later failed to protect their towers with Glyph Master Raz defeating Spire Assassin and taking over The Spire, however, Spire Guardians still remains in their towers. Rumors about aliens start to spread so the IO sends a Helicopter to investigate, but later than crashes. Slone then plants a couple of the bombs under parts of Corny Complex and she, with the Looper's help, pull the aliens to abduct Corny Complex so they can explode The Mothership.

Operation: Sky Fire[]

Slone contacts the strike team she made, and place them on floating parts of Corny Complex that are being abducted to ride along the bombs. The Mothership finally abducts Corny Complex along with Slone's strike team. She guides them through inside the mothership so they can reach the abduction chamber window. The window gets locked and a Cube rises from the water. Slone is surprised by the Cube's return and weaponizes the Looper's Alien Jetpacks to deactivate the Cube. She then leaves the Looper's inside The Mothership, as she is afraid of The Cube coming back to the Island. As a last stand the Loopers reboot The Cube and turn it blue. The Cube activates an elevator and brings the team to the Cube Chamber inside The Mothership, where they see numerous Cubes and veins growing from them. They all slowly starting to turn purple, one by one, except of one, that instead of purple, glows gold. However, they weren't active during the OG season. What became of the Imagined Order after The Big Bang event is unknown, however, they don't seem to be present on the Helios Island, implying they may be lying low at The Bridge, on The Flipside, or are entirely gone.
