Glenda Ray, originally known as "Shit Face", is a major antagonist in the Child's Play franchise.

She is the daughter of Chucky and Tiffany Valentine and the sister of Glen Ray, though she is Chucky's favorite child due to her inheriting her father's violent and murderous ways. Glenda is eventually reborn as the human daughter of Jennifer Tilly and Chucky and becomes his mother's bomb maker to assist her in her plans.

In Seed of Chucky, she was voiced by Billy Boyd and was portrayed by Kristina Hewitt. In Chucky, she is portrayed by Lachlan Watson.

Biography[]

Bride of Chucky[]

She and her twin made their first appearance in Bride of Chucky when a dying Tiffany gave birth to a sharp toothed doll baby, Glen/Glenda. It's unknown, but it's possible Glenda committed her first kill using her sibling when the screaming infant noticed Lt. Preston and attacked him and presumed killed him. What happens to Lt. Preston is unknown.

Seed of Chucky[]

Glenda though not in appearance, more of action. For some reason, Glenda remained dormant in her sibling for a good 6 years.

Her sibling had been found and taken by a punk rock British ventriloquist who claims that Glen tried to attack him. It was possible that could have hinted Glenda's prescience. But Glen said they weren't trying at attack him, they were trying to give him a hug.

For 6 years, her sibling went by the name Shitface and was put in a cage like a bird put under constant humiliation. Though with the exception of some nightmares Glen had of murdering people, nothing seemed wrong with them.

When her sibling goes to Hollywood to find their parents and unintentionally resurrects them, their parents question their gender. When they check they find them, underdeveloped below. Tiffany sees this as a sign that they're a girl, but Chucky thinks that they're a late bloomer, so the pair renamed the child as Glen/Glenda.

Both were shown to tug back and forth about they're gender. When asked what they felt like, Glen said confusingly sometimes they felt like both and asked if they could. Tiffany worried and did think it was possible, but Chucky didn't want to hear it. When Glen makes their parents stop killing, it doesn't go well. Glen witnesses their parents killing which immediately begins to make their eye twitch.

It appears under a severe amount of stress what makes Glenda take over. When Tiffany apparently murders Joan, Jennifer Tilly's assistant, Chucky tries to comfort her. Only to find Glen in a dress, but Glenda has now taken over and refers to them as a "bonus baby". Tiffany arrives and sees Glenda, both Chucky and Tiffany are shocked to discover that they have a daughter as well while Glenda laughs evilly. Seeing Glenda in action was so terrifying, that Tiffany and even Chucky became afraid of her.

As they realized that there were two souls inside the same body. Tiffany tired of her daughter's rants, slaps her, asking Glen back. Glen and Glenda get the freedom they want from on another when Jennifer Tilly gives birth to both a twin boy and girl. Proof that Glenda was real and not a personality is when Tiffany is able to transfer her children's souls out of the doll's body and into the twin babies. With Chucky gone, Tiffany raises the twins (as Jennifer Tilly) as the children of stars.

5 years passing and Glenda hasn't changed a bit. She's inherited her father's wild red hair and her mother's eyes. She's become a problem child so much that the nanny, Fulvia decides to quit. She tells Miss Tilly (Tiffany) that Glen's a sweet heart and a complete angel, but Glenda is mean, violent, cruel, stole money, used profanity such as the "c" word and looked at Fuliva with such "hate" in her eyes. As Jennifer (Tiffany) kindly says good-bye, Fuliva turns and sees Glenda smiling at her. When she turns, Glenda takes great joy watching her mother beat the nanny to death with the Tiffany doll.

Chucky (TV series)[]

In the season 1 finale, it is revealed that Glenda made a bomb for her mother, Tiffany to use to kill Andy Barclay.

• There was a theory that Jake Wheeler's biology teacher was actually Glenda due to her having red hair and foul-mouthed attitudes, however, due to the fact that she was not seen killing anyone on screen and the fact that she would be too old to be Glenda heavily discredits this theory. Furthermore, the real Glenda later appeared in the season 1 finale.
