Giancarlo is the main antagonist in the 1997 Hong Kong action-comedy film, Mr. Nice Guy.
He was played by Richard Norton.
Biography[]
Giancarlo is making a deal with the Demon gang to buy back his “cargo,” but the Demon's leader, Snake, Lion's Share the deal, causing Giancarlo to kill him. The gunfire was captured by journalist Diana and photographer Richard, but Richard was trapped, and Diana had to leave alone. As Diana flees, she meets a passing chef, Jackie, who helps her.
However, Diana's videotape fell into Jackie's box, causing her to take it by mistake, and the real videotape was taken back to Jackie's adoptive father's house and watched by his brother Romeo's children, despite the fact that they had. Jackie was found by Giancarlo's men while filming a television show and had to run away. Diana went to Jackie's house to look for the tape, but was hunted down by gangs along with him, Lakeisha and Miki.
Jackie, Diana, Lakeisha and Miki were forced to hide in Romeo's hideout, because Romeo is a cop, he is also after Giancarlo. But the devil came to them and kidnapped Miki to blackmail him into giving up the tape. Meanwhile, Giancarlo was talking to the other chiefs about the cargo.
Later, Jackie tries to bring Miki back, but fails. He was angry at the police action and was no longer with them but alone. However, he was kidnapped by the Devil in the van and interrogated and managed to escape. Instead, he went alone after learning that Miki was at the construction site. However, during a fight with the Giancarlo's Mafia, he, Lakeisha and Miki was subdued and taken back to Giancarlo's mansion. Romeo finally found the real tape.
Jackie and the others were ill-treated by Giancarlo and taken to a vacant lot where they tried to run them over with a large vehicle. Jackie managed to get out of danger and captured the large vehicle. In retaliation, he drove the large vehicle into Giancarlo's mansion and destroyed most of the buildings and vehicles. Giancarlo was seriously injured after being hit by the large vehicle. Romeo and his superiors led the police to the scene, got strong evidence, and arrested all the leaders and subordinates, including Giancarlo.
