The Dimensional Bug Mother is an insectoid creature under the Dimensional War Party Vyram that served Radiguet and a major antagonist in Choujin Sentai Jetman. She was the main antagonist of the 1st, a major antagonist of the 2nd episode, and an overarching antagonist for the rest of the series.
Biography[]
After Radiguet announces the Vyram's presence on Earth and destroys Skyforce's space station, the Dimensional Bug Mother is sent down. She is ordered to suck out human life-force to feed and hatch her Dimensional Bugs for the Vyram to use to overwhelm and subjugate humanity. She is first seen hiding in a bush when she steals a man and two bodies which allow her to begin producing Dimensional Bugs. She then ambushes the future Jetmen with a platoon of Grinam Soldiers only to be gunned down by Ryuu in Jet Hawk. She retreats for a moment but then restrains Ryuu and blasts Raita and Kaori only for them to morph and defeat the Grinam Soldiers. The Dimensional Bug Mother then attempts to blast them but the Jetmen are unfazed and an attempt to latch onto Ryuu leads to her being shot by his Bird Blaster before cutting her down with his Bringer Sword. Before she can be killed though, Radiguet opens a dimensional rift and allows her to escape in order to preserve her off-spring that the Vyram want to use in thier plans.
Later, the Dimensional Bug Mother is stripped of her egg sack and sent to rampage and eliminate the Jetmen. She attacks Kaori, Raito and Ako after the latter agrees to join the Jetmen and continually overwhelms them before following them to the quarry where she attacks all five after they slay Fighter Dimension. Although she cuts them down and grabs Raita with her tongue, he blasts her away with his Bird Blaster before they combine thier Bird Blasters to finally slay the Dimensional Bug Mother.
Legacy[]
Despite her death, the Dimensional Bug Mother's off-spring were able to hatch as small insects that the Vyram used to create Dimensional Beasts by infecting random object with Dimensional Bugs. The last traces of the Dimensional Bug Mother were lost after the death of Leech Drill.
Personality[]
The Dimensional Bug Mother was a mindless monster incapable of speech but was a loving and doting mother to her Dimensional Bugs. In battle, she was a violent brawler who attacked her enemies relentlessly.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Strength: The Dimensional Bug Mother took down Ryuu with a single jump slash.
- Durability: The Dimensional Bug Mother was repeatedly shot by Jet Hawk's laser blasts but was only momentarily knocked down. She even survived being impaled on his Bringer Sword.
- Soul Sucking: The Dimensional Bug Mother possessed a tongue which could be used to eat lifeforms, absorbing their life energy for itself to create baby Dimensional Bugs.
- Energy Blasts: The Dimensional Bug Mother could gesture her pincers to her face and fire invisible energy blasts from her eyes. These caused large explosions but didn't faze Raita or Kaori.
- Dimensional Gap Transportation: The Dimensional Bug Mother could move between the Vylock and Earth in blue energy slices in the air.
- Lightning Spray: The Dimensional Bug Mother could fire orange lightning from the center of her forehead. This caused a large explosion but the three Jetmen flew away from the blast.
- Super Jumps: The Dimensional Bug Mother could jump incredible distances.
- Flight: The Dimensional Bug Mother could fly by opening flaps in her back.
- Instant Teleportation: The Dimensional Bug Mother could instantly teleport in front of Kaori, Raito and Ako in a swirl of orange energy quickly enough to cut them off.

- Pincers: The Dimensional Bug Mother had no weapons of her own but she had razor sharp mantis-like pincers instead of hands which she could slash her enemies with.
- Tongue: The Dimensional Bug Mother had a long tongue that she could use to steal bodies and souls or entangle her enemies.

- The Dimensional Bug Mother was not named in the episode (only being introduced as "Dimensional Bug.") Her name was derived from her species and being the mother to the baby Dimensional Bugs.
