Davit Radiani is the overarching antagonist of 2023 Netflix action film Extraction 2, the second installment of the Extraction film series.
He is one of the leaders of the Nagazi crime family alongside his older brother Zurab Radiani. Despite dying less than halfway through, Davit's death serves as a major catalyst in the plot.
He was portrayed by Tornike Bziava.
Biography[]
He and his brother were escaping a civil war in Georgia and fled to Armenia, where they reunited with their uncle Avtandil. At one point, they were beaten up by bullies, and he saw Zurab abused and beaten by his father for failing to protect him. Then, they started smuggling drugs in their teens and growing up to become criminals, thus, creating the crime organization that would be called The Nagazi. He and his brother became folk heroes and had power throughout Georgia, including the politicians. He then got arrested for killing and pushing a DEA agent off the roof, which resulted in him getting arrested by the American authorities and having his life sentence extended to 10 years but not before bringing his family with him. He then goes to his family, saying goodnight to the kids, where his wife, Ketevan, tells him that it's been five weeks since they've seen the sun and they should be hiding somewhere else better. Davit disapproves of this and slaps her for answering her back.
One night, he woke up when his prisoners started shouting, meaning someone bailed his family out of their cell. He manages to look for them, and attacks Tyler and Ketevan for bringing their children out of the prison. His wife stops him but hits her in the face. A fight ensues, with Davit managing to gain the upper hand until Tyler Rake pins him to a furnace and splits his right hand in half, screaming in pain, he is then stabbed by Tyler, then is hit in the face by his wife with a shovel, knocking him out and killing him. His corpse is seen as Zurab mourns for him, vowing to kill Tyler and his team for killing him.
