Dark Geran is the most powerful Future Terror Beast used by the Neo Descal and an antagonist in episodes 36 through 38 of Chousei Kantai Sazer-X.
History[]
After the Neo Descal completed the Dark Alumer weapon on the moon, Dark Geran was sent down to Earth by King Neo Descal to draw the darkness it generated to the planet. While Ad and Kane headed to the moon in Adle-Eagle and Beet-Vizor to destroy the Dark-Alumer, Commander Shark and Takuto turned back to Earth to defeat Dark Geran and defend the city from its rampage. Although Dark Geran proved too much for both of them, Shark ordered Takuto to leave the battle and go take back the Lion-1 Cosmo-Capsule from Neo Descal's Neo Deark flagship. While Takuto and Remy went after Neo Deark, Shark stayed behind to battle Dark Geran on his own but his mecha was soon immobilized when Dark Geran corroded it with darkness. Before Dark Geran could finish off Commander Shark, Blaird (and the other two shoguns) showed up in Drill Angler just in time to battle Dark Geran, soon being joined by Ad and Gordo in Wind Eagle and Kane and the Twinsazers in Magna Beet after they destroyed the Dark Alumer. Although the Dark Alumer was destroyed however, the darkness it generated was still being lured towards Earth by Dark Geran.
Together, the Ryuuseishin and Drill Angler were able to destroy Dark Geran. However, King Neo Descal then merged with Dark Geran's remains and revived it by conjoining it with his own life force, resulting in it growing until it towered over the Ryuuseishin. The rejuvenated Dark Geran laid waste to both Wind Eagle and Magna Beet and left Drill Angler as the only mecha remaining. In an attempt to destroy Dark Geran and recover the Lion-1 Cosmo-Capsule, Takuto teleported inside of it but was confronted by King Neo Descal's consciousness, which took the form of Black-Lio. Remy also joined the fight piloting Great-Lio in place of Takuto, but was unable to do much to slow the Darkness Beast down. However, the other Sazer-X members were able to salvage a functional Core Braver from the ruins of Wind Eagle, which Ad, Kane and Blaird used to penetrate Dark Geran's body and get inside of it to rescue Takuto. Dark Geran was then destroyed again by a simultaneous attack inside of it by Takuto, Ad, Kane and Blaird, and outside of it by Great-Lio piloted by Remy, Gordo, Patola, Ein, Zwein, Aqual and Cyclead.
